Scottsboro-based wrecker service towing Alabama since 1975
Leon Thomas Wrecker Service has provided towing and recovery in Scottsboro, Alabama since 1975, growing from a single family-owned operation into a business with a second location in Fort Payne. Stacy Sharp and Andrew Sharp took over the company in 2023 and invested in upgraded equipment to keep pace with demand across Jackson and DeKalb Counties. The fleet handles light-, medium-, and heavy-duty towing, including semi-trucks, tractor trailers, gooseneck trailers, and RVs, plus heavy equipment and farm machinery moves, container and portable building transport, and Landoll towing for oversized loads. Roadside support covers flat tire changes, winch-outs, and off-road recovery, and the crew also handles accident recovery and cleanup. The office runs weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with service calls answered 24/7.
