Santa Barbara County towing operator running since 1992 with four locations
Opened in 1992, Smitty's Towing has grown into a multi-location operation covering Santa Barbara County, starting as a heavy duty towing and recovery business before adding light duty service the following year. A second full-service location covering Buellton, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Los Alamos, and Solvang was added in 2011. The company now operates a main yard in Goleta along with offices and impound yards in Buellton, Lompoc, and Santa Maria, running a fleet of more than fifty trucks that includes light duty vehicles, heavy duty wreckers, and rotators with 360-degree lifting capability. Smitty's Towing has been recognized among the top 100 service providers by the American Towman Association and is an authorized tower for several EV brands, maintaining equipment for electric vehicle towing and storage.
