LA's only 75-ton rotator, family-run towing since 1979
Pepe's Tow Service began in March 1979 when Jose and Delfina Acosta converted a Ford 350 pickup into the company's first tow truck, and the business remains family-run today with their sons Jose Jr. and Manuel involved in operations. Based at the East LA Interchange, the company became a heavy-duty Official Police Garage in November 2014 and serves as a central tower for the California Highway Patrol's East LA, Central LA, Altadena, and South LA divisions. Pepe's operates the city of Los Angeles's only 75-ton rotator alongside a fleet of more than 80 vehicles, covering light, medium, and heavy-duty towing, landoll transportation, trailer and machine lifts, and roll-over recovery. Contracted accounts include companies such as 7 UP, Coca-Cola, FedEx Freight, and Penske LA, and dispatch runs 24 hours a day from locations in Los Angeles and Wilmington.
