Since 1982, G.S. California Towing has held contracts with the Santa Ana Police Department, Tustin Police Department, California Highway Patrol, and Orange County Sheriff's Department. The company runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from its Santa Ana yard. Staff must pass a clean-driving-record check, a pre-employment drug screening, and fingerprint-based criminal background checks through CHP and the Orange County Sheriff's Department, and tow operators carry certification from the California Tow Truck Association and WreckMasters. The heavy-duty fleet includes a 50-ton rotator with a side-rotating boom, a 50-ton tow truck, a 35-ton recovery unit, and a Landoll trailer for equipment hauling. G.S. California Towing also handles private property impound towing and medium-duty towing across Orange County.
