Cape Ann Marine Towing & Salvage has provided towing and salvage services in South Florida since 1978, starting out as a TowBoat U.S. provider before becoming a yacht towing company in the late 1970s. The family-owned business was purchased in 2003 by Captain Courtney L. Day, who had served as a Cape Ann captain since 1990 and brought decades of yacht towing, salvage, and boating experience, including earlier work as a lobster fisherman off Maine and a captain with Port Everglades Towing. Services include yacht towing, river tows, marina moves, boat show tow assistance, loading and unloading from yacht carriers, Winterfest Boat Parade towing, emergency pump-outs, and salvage and recovery of sinking boats. Cape Ann Marine Towing & Salvage is based in Fort Lauderdale.
