Stepp's Towing has served West Central Florida since 1960, when Jim Stepp started the company as a single tow truck operation in Temple Terrace. The business is still family-run, now led by his son and company president, Todd Stepp, and has grown to a fleet of more than 250 towing and vehicle transport units. Services span light-duty towing for accidents and breakdowns, medium and heavy-duty wrecker work with rotators up to 75 tons, emergency roadside help including jump starts, lockouts, and fuel delivery, and heavy transport offered nationwide. Stepp's also runs a parking lot management program, an environmental response division, and an auto salvage yard. The company operates from multiple Florida locations, including Tampa, Orlando, Lakeland, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, St. Petersburg, Gibsonton, and San Antonio, Florida.
