Durham's Wrecker Service & Auto Repair was founded in LaFayette, Georgia in 1971 by Mac and Freda Durham, along with sons Tim and Ray. The business started at the town's old train depot before moving to West North Main Street, then settling at its current South Duke Street location in 1992. Today the shop is run by Tim, Sherry, and Chelsey Durham, offering transmission work, engine repairs, air conditioning service, brakes, and wrecker service with light and heavy-duty towing. The company also offers a 12-month, 12,000-mile nationwide limited repair warranty with roadside assistance. Durham's is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on weekends.
