Stan's Pro Tows traces its roots to 1960, when founder Stan Henson began towing cars in Pocatello, Idaho before paramedics carried the jaws of life, often pulling wrecked vehicles apart himself to free trapped drivers. His son Doug grew up riding along and took over the company in 2006, and the business now operates in both Pocatello and Clermont, Florida. The company runs a fleet of fourteen trucks, including Condor Cycle loaders for motorcycle transport, and its operators are WreckMaster trained and certified for recovery work. Stan's Pro Tows partners with motor clubs including Agero, Road America, Honk, Quest, Geico, Nation-Safe Driver, and Allied Dispatch, and it services custom, show, classic, and low-clearance cars in addition to everyday light and medium duty towing. Roadside offerings include lockouts, flat tire changes, fuel delivery, and jumpstarts.
