Brian's Auto Service & 23 Hour Towing was founded in Litchfield, Illinois in 1977 by Brian and Jan, and has since grown into a five-truck fleet operating out of a seven-bay shop. Towing services cover flatbed and small-to-medium tow trucks, emergency towing, car lockouts, and recovery towing, though the fleet does not include semi-trucks. Roadside assistance includes battery changes with premium NAPA batteries and fuel delivery. The repair side handles both major work, such as engine replacements using new Jasper engines or used engines, transmission and rear-end or front-end repair, and minor maintenance like oil changes, suspension work, tire service, wipers, and light bulb replacement, with access to a network of more than 4,400 used auto recyclers. In 2011, Brian received the American Towman Award, a nomination that came from the local police chief.
