Britton's Wrecker Service was established in Pulaski County, Illinois on August 19, 2009, with its original shop at 210 Glen Hall Drive in Mounds. Later that same year, the company purchased a retiring local competitor's business, and in 2015 it opened a second permanent location in Vienna, Illinois, followed by a third location in Metropolis, Illinois. The company, owned by Brent A. Britton, serves Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, and Western Kentucky with light and heavy towing, roadside service, truck and auto repair, transloads and load shifts, tire changes ranging from cars to semis, fuel deliveries, lockout assistance, jump starts, and heavy-duty recovery. Britton's Wrecker Service is also a Michelin dealer for semi tires. Regular staffed hours run seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with after-hours call-outs available 24/7.
