Corydon towing business built from a 1970 detailing shop, now running 17 trucks
Charlie's 24 Hr. Towing traces back to 1970, when Charles and Edith "Elvira" Adamson started the business in Corydon, Indiana as a detailing and used car operation. The company shifted into towing in 1980 and has since relocated twice, moving to Blue River Auto in 2007 and to a renovated BP station in 2012, while continuing used car sales at a separate location. The business also moved and set mobile homes from the late 1990s until 2012. What began with three trucks has grown into a fleet of 17 trucks, four trailers, two fenced secure lots, and a storage lot serving Southern Indiana. Services include towing and recovery of any size, hauling, private impound, and roadside assistance, with towing and recovery vehicles radio-dispatched around the clock.
