1st-place winner of the 2023 REV Small Business Improvement Grant
After seven years in the towing and recovery industry, Clayton Gillett founded Gillett Hauling, now based in Underwood, Iowa and specializing in equipment hauling throughout Southwest Iowa and the Omaha metro area. The company's fleet includes a 55-ton lowboy trailer rated for loads up to 90,000 pounds, a 40-ton Landoll trailer with a 20,000-pound winch for pulling disabled vehicles, a light-duty skid loader trailer for equipment under 12,000 pounds, and bob-tail power units for relocating trailers. Gillett Hauling also handles oversized and overweight loads up to 70,000 pounds and transports generators and air compressors to job sites. The company was named the 1st place winner of the 2023 REV Small Business Improvement Grant.
