Williams Towing & Recovery traces its roots to 1989, when it began as part of Williams Automotive in Emporia with a fleet of three tow trucks. Clint Drake purchased the company in 2018 and established it as an independent operation, later adding in-shop diesel repair in March 2020. The company's current fleet includes a Dodge 4500 tow truck, two Freightliner rollback flatbeds, 25-ton and 35-ton wreckers, a 70-ton sliding rotator, and a road tractor with a Landoll trailer, along with two mobile service trucks for repairs and tire changes.
