Dacus Towing & Recovery grew out of Dacus Auto Body & Collision Repair, expanding into a family-owned towing operation serving McPherson, Salina and the surrounding central Kansas counties of Saline, Rice, Harvey, Marion and Ellsworth. The team, led by owners Chris Dacus and Kena Dacus, handles light-, medium- and heavy-duty towing along with split-tow service that separates a disabled tractor from its trailer to comply with Kansas law on combination towing. A heavy-duty rotator truck is available for major recoveries, rollovers and off-road winch-outs in mud or snow. Most calls are answered within 20 to 30 minutes by trained operators working 24 hours a day. Freight delivery, load transfers and storage are also offered for truckers dealing with breakdowns along I-135 and other central Kansas routes.
