Operating out of the Venice, Louisiana area since 1982, Denet Towing Service is a 24-hour marine towing company serving the oil, gas, and fishing industries across the Southern Region. Services include marine delivery of personnel, equipment, and supplies; marine tending of rigs, platforms, and dredges; barge rentals; dock repairs; salvage jobs; wheel washing; and crew changing services. The fleet includes six shallow-draft Lugger Tugs ranging from 300 to 1,200 horsepower, 14 deck barges, four containment rail barges, a 100,000-gallon potable water barge, six spud barges, two pontoon barges, and a concrete barge with 4,000-barrel liquid storage capacity. Four inland support vessels built in 2010 reach speeds up to 38 knots and carry up to seven passengers in under three feet of water. The company is fully insured and Subchapter M compliant, with equipment mobilized and demobilized out of Venice, Louisiana.
