Since 1984, Auto Tech has served the Pineville, Louisiana area, beginning when Steve and Debbie Dauzart opened the business in a small 8x10 portable building on a quarter-acre salvage lot. The company is now a third-generation, family-owned operation; Steve's father Belton got his start in the automotive trade as a military mechanic, and Steve's son Hummer is now part of daily operations. Auto Tech has grown into a 13-acre yard with a parts warehouse and computerized inventory system, combining full-service dealership repairs, collision repair, parts sales, and pre-owned vehicle sales with 24-hour towing for light and medium-duty vehicles. As a direct repair facility for multiple major insurance companies, the towing team offers free written estimates. General repair services include A/C work, tune-ups, oil changes, diagnostics, timing belt replacement, brakes, suspension, cooling system service, and batteries.
