Westbrook, Maine towing company started in 1971 with owner's first wrecker
B&B Towing traces back to 1971, when Brian Senior built the company's first wrecker in Westbrook, Maine. When he moved into the oil business in the 1980s, his son Brian Jr., then still in high school, bought that single truck and built his own towing operation from it. The company now handles vehicles and equipment of nearly every kind, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, coach buses, crane trucks, tractor-trailers, boats, sheds, shipping containers, modular homes, generators, pods, and excavators. Jump starts, tire changes, decking and un-decking, equipment hauling, and light roadside mechanical work round out the services offered. In 2012, B&B Towing added a Long Haul Transport division that moves freight ranging from produce to building supplies across the country. The company operates out of Terminal Street in Westbrook and answers calls around the clock.
