Family-run Peabody towing service operating since 1961
Four Star Towing Service started as a family operation in 1961 and has served Peabody for more than 50 years, providing towing and 24/7 roadside assistance. The business tows motorcycles, antique cars, trailers, boats, and modern vehicles, and also moves farm equipment, storage containers, scissor lifts, and construction equipment. It serves the Essex County Sheriff Department, the Peabody Police, the Danvers Police, the Lynnfield Police, and the Massachusetts State Police. Four Star Towing's trucks have appeared in the Boston Pride Parade and the Lynn Christmas Parade, as well as in the movies Grown Ups 2 and Furry Vengeance. The company has taken part in community events such as the Danvers Summer Park Programs, Touch a Truck, and St. John's charity events. Office hours run 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, while towing service operates 24 hours a day. Repair work is available by appointment.
