Jim's Towing & Road Service Company was founded in 1968 by James A. Poupard near Exit #15 on I-75, midway between Detroit and Toledo, Ohio, and moved to its current Franklin Street location in Monroe, Michigan. Timothy and April Peck purchased the business from Mr. Poupard on July 1, 2002; Tim began working at Jim's Towing in 1986 in truck tire repair and road service before moving into towing. The company provides light-, medium-, and heavy-duty towing and flatbed service, along with roadside assistance such as jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, vehicle unlocking, off-road recovery, and equipment moving. It is fully insured, fully licensed, and holds MPSC, USDOT, and ICCMC registration numbers, with WreckMaster-trained and certified truck operators. Towing is available 24 hours a day, with car pickup and shop hours Monday through Friday.
