Port Huron's 'Big Red Trucks' towing since 1998
Known locally as the Big Red Trucks, S & S Towing Inc. has provided 24-hour towing service in Port Huron, Michigan since Steve Smith Sr. started the company in September 1998 with a single wrecker. Steve Smith Jr. joined the business the following January, and the operation grew to include additional flatbeds and heavy wreckers within a few years. Today the company offers light, medium, and heavy-duty towing, equipment and machine transport, and oversized permit load hauling throughout St. Clair County, including Port Huron, Marysville, St. Clair, Marine City, and surrounding communities. Team members have attended the Midwest Regional Tow Show to stay connected with the wider towing industry. S & S Towing Inc. continues to operate under Steve Smith Jr.'s leadership from its Range Road location, serving both residential and commercial towing needs.
