Metro Detroit towing fleet operating since 1977
A single truck in 1977 grew into a fleet of more than 60 vehicles for Service Towing, founded by the Hertz Brothers in Warren, Michigan. The company now runs light-duty towing with enclosed flatbed trucks, heavy-duty towing using 65-ton and 80-ton rotators for large recoveries and accident scenes, and transport services for heavy machinery and equipment. Vehicles handled range from cars, pickups and SUVs to box trucks, tractors, trailers, cement mixers and garbage trucks. Dispatch operates 24 hours a day, sending the nearest available truck to a customer's location across Southeast Michigan, including Detroit, Sterling Heights, Troy, Southfield, Dearborn and dozens of other communities in the metro area.
