Dick's Valley Service has served the greater Apple Valley, Minnesota area and surrounding states since 1965, when Dick and Marilynn Tuthill opened a two-bay service station with a single tow truck on their first wedding anniversary. Now run by three generations of the Tuthill family, the company operates two Apple Valley locations: a 21,000-square-foot repair facility with 10 auto repair bays and four commercial truck repair bays, and a second site housing a dispatch center and impound lot. The fleet includes more than 32 trucks and 16 trailers, covering light- and heavy-duty towing and recovery, automotive and truck repair, roadside assistance, and equipment transportation. Dispatchers track trucks using radio communications, GPS and towing software. Auto repairs carry a nationwide 24-month, 24,000-mile warranty on parts and labor, while commercial repairs carry a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty.
