Scotty's Carriage Works has served Northwest Missouri since 1950, when it was founded by Malcolm 'Scotty' Scott; his son Michael Scott now owns and operates the Cameron-based company. Michael Scott has served on the Missouri Tow Truck Association and the Towing and Recovery Association of America's Education Committee, and was inducted into the Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The business offers 24/7 light- and medium-duty towing along with heavy-duty towing, hauling, and uprighting for tractor-trailers and large equipment. A separate aircraft recovery division works with airports, insurance companies, government agencies, and private pilots, and the company also provides auto detailing and window tinting from its Cameron location.
