Boat towing and marine assistance at Lake of the Ozarks since 2001
Tow Boat U.S. Lake of the Ozarks traces back to 2001, when Charlie Meyer brought the national Tow Boat U.S. towing model, in use since 1987, to the Lake of the Ozarks. Captain Travis Coleman took over in 2019 and has since expanded the fleet by four boats, extending coverage to Truman Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake, Stockton Lake, and other Missouri waterways. Coast Guard licensed captains provide boat towing, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, dock-to-dock and slip transport, ungrounding services, salvage and wreck removal, vessel recovering and dewatering, underwater inspections, and spill response. Five U.S. Coast Guard licensed vessels serve the Lake of the Ozarks alone, dispatched from four local ports. The company is based at 3502 Bagnell Dam Boulevard in Lake Ozark and offers memberships covering unlimited towing, jump starts, fuel delivery, and dock-to-repair service.
