C&L Towing was started in 1984 with a single tow truck by president Charles Napoli Jr. and has grown into a six-location operation headquartered in East Hanover, New Jersey, with additional locations in South Orange, Rockaway, Morristown, Kenvil, and Parsippany. The company employs more than 100 people and operates over 80 pieces of specialized equipment, including 60- and 75-ton rotating-boom units capable of handling loads up to 150 tons. Services range from light-duty towing and multi-car hauling for dealers and fleets to heavy-duty recovery, load transfers, and off-road recovery, plus heavy equipment hauling using standard, double-drop, and stretch trailers with up to 13 axles. C&L Towing serves all five boroughs of New York City and reports that 90 percent of its business comes from repeat customers, with dispatch staffed 24 hours a day.
