Mesler's Towing Service & Auto Body has operated in Morristown, New Jersey since 1960, when it opened as Mesler's American gas station and repair shop. The towing side of the business grew during the construction of Route 287, starting with a wheel lift before adding a flatbed and eventually heavy-duty towing equipment. Founder Mesler brought his two sons into the company: Fred manages the auto body shop and Harold runs towing and truck repair. Today the company offers 24-hour towing, heavy-duty towing and hauling with tractor trailers, auto body repair, automotive diagnosis and repair, and a service station, located near Routes 287, 24, and 80 close to the Morristown train station. Mesler's also provides 24/7 road and tire service for commercial vehicles and roadside assistance for cars and trucks throughout Morris County.
