Family-run Ithaca wrecker service operating since 1970
Finger Lakes Wrecker has served the Ithaca, New York area since 1970, growing from a one-man, one-truck operation into a fleet of eight tow trucks handling everything from motorcycles to boat trailers. The company was the first operator in the area and the fourth in the United States to adopt wheel lift systems, which lift vehicles by their tires to avoid damage. A 1988 custom Kenworth in the fleet was featured in the book The World's Greatest Tow Truck. Beyond towing and winch-outs, Finger Lakes Wrecker offers roadside assistance such as jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockout help, plus secure vehicle storage at its Cecil Malone Drive facility. The company supports Ithaca College and Cornell University and serves Tompkins County, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
