Founded in 1925 as Sineath Motor Company by J.I. Sineath, Kirk's-Sineath Towing has served Greensboro, North Carolina for a century. After Sineath's death in 1941, service manager A.T. Kirkman purchased the company and added the Kirk's name. Today it operates alongside sister company Battleground Tire & Wrecker Service of Burlington, offering 24/7 local and long-distance towing for light and heavy-duty vehicles, mobile truck and trailer repair, tire sales and repair, equipment hauling, flatbed transport for exotic and classic autos, and a Heavy Incident Response Unit for major recovery jobs. Private property towing is offered as a free service to area businesses, with GPS-equipped trucks and an office staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The company belongs to the Towing and Recovery Professionals of North Carolina and the Towing and Recovery Association of America, and marked 100 years of service in 2025.
