A family business since 1967, Gray's Towing began in Havelock, North Carolina when O.J. Mason Gray started the company as a two-bay service station called Gray's Texaco. Now run by the third generation of the Gray family, the company has grown from a three-truck operation into a fleet of 34 power units, plus a car trailer, three landoll trailers, and two lowboy trailers. In addition to its Havelock headquarters, Gray's Towing operates locations in Morehead City and New Bern, serving Eastern North Carolina. Services include light, medium, and heavy duty towing, automotive door unlocks, tire changes, jump starts, fuel delivery, extrication and winching, equipment recovery, boat and trailer hauling, and crane service for heavy lifting. The company also handles long-distance towing and has transported vehicles as far as Massachusetts, Texas, Florida, and California.
