Rich's Towing & Service, Inc. traces back to 1961, when founder Rich Smith started the company out of his gas station with a single truck used to bring customers' vehicles in for repairs. The business now operates from two locations, in Middleburg Heights and Oakwood Village, Ohio, with a fleet that has grown to more than 80 units, including two rotators, ten heavy wreckers, and twenty-five tractors and trailers ranging from 53-foot flatbeds to an eleven-axle super load beam. Operators are trained through organizations including the Towing and Recovery Association of America and Wreckmaster, and the dispatch office is staffed around the clock, every day of the year, for towing, hauling, and oversize load transport across northern Ohio.
