Storey Wrecker traces its roots to 1960, when Al and Jenell Storey started a two-pump, one-bay service station in Tulsa and gradually built it into a wrecker business, buying their first tow truck on a second mortgage. The family-owned company now operates 22 wreckers from locations in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, offering light, medium and heavy-duty towing alongside specialty vehicle transport. Roadside assistance covers tire changes, lockouts, jump starts and winching, and the company is a provider for national road clubs. Storey Wrecker's heavy recovery capabilities include hazmat-certified specialists, air bag recovery, livestock removal and refrigerated cargo removal when needed. Al and Jenell's children, Brad and Lisa, continued the business after their parents' deaths, carrying on community programs such as Jenell's 'Storey on Safety' initiative that once provided free tows for impaired drivers.
