Duncansville PA truck sales, service, and rental family business since 1982
Burchfield Truck Sales grew out of a commitment David E. Burchfield, Sr. made to southern Blair County in 1982, and the Duncansville business is still run by the Burchfield family, with sons David Jr. and Richard taking active roles. The lot carries more than 300 units, from pickups to semis and backhoes to excavators, with financing available. Richard E. Burchfield heads the AAA-affiliated towing operation, which runs the largest full-time tow truck fleet in Central Pennsylvania and offers 24/7 road emergency service. He also oversees the repair facility, which services and maintains all makes and models of trucks and equipment. A Budget Truck Rental franchise, managed by Heather Walter, rents 10-, 16-, and 24-foot box trucks, some with lift gates, along with cargo vans. The company employs 19 full-time staff and keeps its Duncansville location open Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings.
