B & C Auto Menders started in 2000 when Dave Bear and Steve Carbaugh, who had worked together for five years at another body shop, opened a part-time operation in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The business grew steadily, purchasing its current property in 2002 and building a new 5,400-square-foot shop that it moved into in January 2005. B & C Auto Menders is an I-Car Gold Class operation with certified body technicians, mechanics, a Pennsylvania state appraiser, and state inspection mechanics; it has been a certified Pennsylvania State Inspection Station since 2007. Alongside collision repair, frame work, painting, custom fabrication, and welding, the shop provides towing service with published rates for rollback towing, accident and impound calls, and vehicle storage. Because of its certifications, the shop offers a lifetime warranty on completed repairs. B & C Auto Menders operates from Knoxlyn-Orrtanna Road in Gettysburg.
