Third-generation Mercer, PA tow company running since 1950 with signature yellow trucks
Mercer Auto Wreckers, LLC has served Western Pennsylvania since 1950 and is now run by a third generation of the same family, approaching a fourth. Based in Mercer with a second location in Sharon, the company provides light-, medium-, and heavy-duty towing along with 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for battery jump starts, flat tires, and winching. Its WreckMaster-trained, CPR-certified team also runs same-day auto maintenance and repair, including oil changes, inspections, emissions testing, and tire service, plus scrap and recycling work covering junk car recycling, scrap metal purchasing, and used auto parts. The company is fully licensed and insured and works with fleet and commercial accounts. Its tow trucks are painted Mayfield Dairy Yellow, a color the founder chose in honor of a local dairy operation.
