Family-run garage and 24-hour towing in Hixson, TN since 1979
Gudel's Garage & Towing traces back to the early 1970s, when Bob Gudel started working on cars in the family's backyard before renting a three-bay garage on Hixson Pike in 1977 and building Gudel's Garage in 1981. A body shop followed in 1992, turning the Hixson, Tennessee location into a full-service stop for repairs and towing. Today the shop is run by John Gudel, Donna Gudel, and Helen Gudel Keef, continuing the honest, dependable approach the family started decades ago. Services include brakes, tune-ups, clutches, transmission service and replacement, timing belts, cooling system repair, computer diagnostics, AC repair, DOT inspections, engine work, and electrical repair, alongside 24-hour towing and recovery. The shop also offers free inspections before a used vehicle purchase and recycles waste oil for heating.
