Buddy's Wrecker Service traces back to 1963, when John Morgan "Buddy" Sedberry Jr. and June Sedberry founded it as Buddy's Esso, a full-service gas station in Union City, Tennessee. The company now provides heavy towing, heavy-duty recovery, mobile rotator service, auto towing, and roadside assistance across Northwest Tennessee, Southwest Kentucky, Southeast Missouri, and Southwest Illinois, plus a full-service auto repair shop in Union City. Operators are trained and certified through the Wreckmaster Professional Recovery Training Institute and the Towing & Recovery Association of America, and technicians hold ASE certification. The heavy-duty fleet includes a 70-ton rotator and several heavy-duty wreckers, supporting light, medium, and heavy vehicle recovery, rollovers, air cushion recovery, and load transfers throughout the region.
