Mission Wrecker Service has provided towing and recovery in the San Antonio area since 1970, when it was founded by David Pizzini and Lloyd Mooney to serve local car dealers and police agencies. Present owners Muhammad Choudary and Vernon Oliver purchased the company in 2002 and merged it with their business, A Ace Towing. Today Mission Wrecker Service operates from locations in San Antonio, Converse and Houston, offering emergency towing, flatbed towing, heavy-duty towing, heavy-duty recovery, roadside assistance and mobile crane service. Its dispatch center runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and its towing operators are licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, with ongoing continuing-education and Haz-Mat training required for heavy-duty operators.
