David Goode opened an automotive repair shop in Killeen, Texas in 1986 and bought his first wrecker, a 1981 Dodge, laying the groundwork for what became Goode Towing & Recovery. In 1994 he purchased a new wrecker and closed the repair shop to focus fully on towing, and the company has remained family-owned since. Goode Towing & Recovery is licensed and certified by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, offering light-, medium-, and heavy-duty towing, wrecker service, winch-out recovery, roadside assistance, lockout service, equipment transfer, storage, tire changes, jump starts, and fuel delivery. The company provides response within a 75-mile radius of its Killeen office and can extend towing and recovery services statewide, serving Killeen, Harker Heights, and Belton along with the surrounding region.
