Provides backcountry vehicle recovery and technical support across Utah
Backcountry Recovery Operations provides vehicle recovery and technical support in backcountry terrain across Utah. The organization runs a network of field operators coordinated through a dispatch and recovery request system, letting agencies and vehicle owners request assistance and track a recovery's status. Recovery calls are logged and reviewed through after-action reporting, while a certification tracker and vendor network help maintain operator readiness. Backcountry Recovery Operations coordinates with allied agencies and clinical partners during scene response, and maintains a foundation arm that accepts donations to support its recovery work.
