Family-owned towing serving Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts since 1948
Le Blanc's Auto Recycling has served the tri-state area of Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts from its base in Bennington, Vermont, since the business was founded in 1948 by Everett and Ida LeBlanc. Ownership passed to daughter Doris LeBlanc in 1973, and the company was renamed LeBlanc's Auto Salvage before becoming LeBlanc's Auto Recycling in 1996 with the addition of Tom Purdy, representing the third generation of family involvement. The business operates from 37 Willow Road in Bennington, offering auto parts, vehicle recycling, repairs, and towing. Light and medium-duty towing has been part of the operation for more than 70 years, alongside the company's original salvage and parts business. Family ownership has continued across three generations, from the original founders through their daughter and grandson.
