Willow Spring Towing and Recovery has operated in Northern Virginia since 1941, when Woodrow and Nellie Herring Sr. opened a small garage offering excavation and towing services. The family-owned company, now run by later generations of the Herring family, operates two locations: a Chantilly headquarters housing dispatch, storage, and fleet maintenance, and a Fairfax salvage and recycling center that also sells used cars and parts. Services include 24-hour emergency towing, specialized recovery, rotator work, and salvage operations, with rotator trucks capable of pulling a combined 160 tons using a 360-degree pivoting boom and winch system. The company works with local police and fire departments and serves commercial customers throughout the DC Metro area.
