Blair's Towing & Recovery was founded in 1995 by R. Blair Gentry, who brought seven years of prior industry experience to a business that started with a single truck and a home-based office. The company opened its Loudoun County headquarters in 1997, added a second Loudoun County facility in 2001, expanded into Alexandria in 2008, and opened a Chesapeake location in 2020. Today Blair's Towing & Recovery operates from Falls Church, Sterling, and Chesapeake, serving Loudoun County, Fairfax County, and surrounding Virginia regions. Services include flatbed and wheel-lift towing, medium-duty towing, motorcycle transport, recovery work such as winching and rollover response, private parking enforcement, and fleet and commercial accounts. Operators are certified through Wreck Masters, TowCert, and the Towing and Recovery Association of America, and undergo background checks through the Department of Criminal Justice Services.
