Norma Jean Towing grew out of Olaf Herrick's original auto body shop, Southern Auto Body, expanding from moving vehicles between the shop and customers into a full towing operation serving Fredericksburg, Stafford, and Spotsylvania, Virginia. Herrick, who moved to the United States from Germany as a child, built a career spanning nearly four decades in the auto body trade before founding Norma Jean Towing, now a police-contracted, AAA-authorized operation running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Over more than 26 years in business, the company has completed upwards of 86,000 tows and logged over a million miles. Services include standard towing, winch-outs and off-road recovery, classic car and auction transport, lockouts, tire changes, battery sales and installation, and jump starts for AAA members and non-members alike.
