Butler's Towing Company has been family owned and operated in Waverly, Virginia since Fred Butler, grandfather of current owner Chase Boykin, started the business in 1996 with a single tow truck. Butch Winfrey Bonner joined in 1999, and under Chase Boykin's leadership since 2007 the company grew to seven tow trucks and seven employees. Butler's is licensed and insured and belongs to the Virginia Association of Towing & Recovery Operators. Services include roadside towing, long-distance towing, heavy-duty recovery, classic and antique vehicle towing, junk and abandoned vehicle removal, and covered indoor vehicle storage, serving Sussex, Surry, Southampton, Isle of Wight, and Prince George counties. The company has since added automotive repair and maintenance at its Waverly shop on Route 460.
