Fifth-generation family auto shop founded in Wylliesburg in 1932
Spurlock's Auto Works began in 1932 when Bymon Curtis Spurlock founded Spurlock's Garage to offer mechanic work and towing services, and the business has passed through multiple generations of the Spurlock family since then. Steven Spurlock took over in 1999, and by 2004 had replaced the original garage with two new steel buildings housing a mechanic shop and a paint and body shop. In 2021, Spurlock's Auto Works moved into a new building that now operates as a full-time body shop and towing company, while the original Highway 15 location remains open under a renter offering state inspections and mechanic work. Today the company provides 24-hour towing, auto body repair, tires, and windshields to the Wylliesburg, Virginia area.
