Mac Towing has served the Puget Sound Eastside since 1932, when Mac McBurney founded the business as a service station; the company began towing in 1941 with a Ford wrecker and took its current name in 1968 under owner Paul Shannon, later expanding into Bothell, Woodinville, and Redmond in 1985. Today Mac Towing operates from four locations - Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Woodinville - with a fleet of nine trucks, including three flatbeds, four A-class, and two B-class tow trucks. The company handles light- and heavy-duty towing, exotic and all-wheel-drive vehicles, motorcycles, motorhomes, boats, and fifth-wheel and gooseneck trailers, along with jump-starts, lockouts, tire changes, and winch-outs. Mac Towing also provides private property impound service under Washington state law, plus fleet, national account, and long-distance towing.
