Since 1971, Smith's Towing & Automotive has run as a family-owned business, growing from a single 1986 Chevy tow truck into an operation covering Greenbrier, Summers, and Monroe counties in West Virginia. The company handles light, medium, and heavy-duty towing and recovery, along with roadside assistance, winch-outs, tire service, load swaps, and garage repairs, and its shop provides WV state inspection stickers. Its current fleet includes five rollbacks, two service trucks, two light-duty wreckers, two heavy-duty wreckers, a 50-ton rotator, and a rescue tractor with landoll. Dispatch is live 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while the garage keeps regular hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
