Towing, heavy hauling, and repair serving Charleston, West Virginia since the 1970s
Charleston Auto traces back to the 1970s, when it started as one man with a small toolbox making house calls for minor repairs. The company has since grown into one of the larger towing and repair operations in West Virginia, with more than 30 employees, including ASE-certified mechanics, CDL drivers, and operators trained at trucking academies and heavy-duty certification programs. Services include towing, heavy hauling, a service center for repairs including transmission work, and a salvage yard offering used parts for cars, trucks, SUVs, and semi trucks and trailers. A 24-hour dispatching team, rather than an answering service, handles calls, and the shop's location near I-77, I-64, I-79, and the West Virginia Turnpike supports quick response times. Charleston Auto services AAA and Agero roadside clubs.
