Johnson Towing of Stevens Point traces back to 1980, when Bob and Joan Johnson began servicing all of central Wisconsin. Darryl Johnson worked for Bob for years before purchasing part of the business and opening the Stevens Point location after marrying Elizabeth Gaboda in 1990. Now more than 40 years in, the family-run company covers Wisconsin and surrounding states with towing and recovery, lockout service, jump starts, and heavy-duty towing, along with specialty services for sports cars, antique cars, motorcycles, boats, 5th wheels, and UTVs and ATVs. The team participates in Wreckmaster coursework and belongs to the Wisconsin Towing Association. Johnson Towing of Stevens Point operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with indoor and outdoor storage available at its Patch Street facility.
